ROLE OF THE CENTRE

Publication of the journal, and books/booklets, giving professional awards based on application or examination, deciding upon the Honours to be bestowed upon textile professionals and on dedicated members of TAI are the main functions of the Centre.
Facilitating Unit activities - helping them to serve their members better - is a major responsibility of the Centre. It, therefore, appoints four Zonal Coordinaters for helping the not so strong Units to organise good activities for their members.
