Specialty chemicals company LANXESS India has won the prestigious Golden Peacock Occupational Health & Safety (GPOHSA) award for the year 2020 for its commitment and significant achievements in the area of Occupational Health and Safety.
Protecting the health and safety of its employees and the community at large has always remained a top priority for LANXESS. Safe and secure operation of manufacturing plants in accordance with group guidelines and legal requirements is an important prerequisite for success of the organization. Leaders and employees across levels have been working together to ensure and continuously improve safety methods, behaviors and conditions to achieve the goal of ‘Zero accidents’.
Handling chemical substances and working with technical equipment fundamentally involve health and safety risks. The company’s OHS management system is designed based on the legal requirements and best industrial practices.
